TRUE OR FALSE: US Hunting For Uzor Kalu Over The Death of His Girlfriend?

"Former Abia State Governor, Uzor Kalu, has gone into hiding occasioned by the warrant of arrest against him, issued by the US government over the murder one of his girl friends in Kalu's Portomarc mansion few years ago. The lady is said to be a shop attendant in the US. 

Ex-Governor Kalu who was in company of his brother Nnanna Kalu when the incident happened allegedly disappeared into the thin air, escaping arrest..."

But an aid to the ex-governor has insisted that the story is not true. Although he did not back his claim that the man is not wanted with any statement from the US authorities, the aid, identified as Dr. Vitalis Ajumbe, said: “Orji Kalu is in the Middle East now on business trip. So he is not wanted by the US government for murder and he is not in hiding.”

Could it be that someone is just trying to rubbish Uzor Kalu? Or is the aid just trying to defend his boss?
