Lil Wayne Details Working With Mannie Fresh on ‘Tha Carter V’

The wait for Tha Carter V has been long. There’s no signs of it coming, and the Free Weezy Album will probably randomly pop up next. And then there’s Young Thug’s album paying homage or disrespect to Tha Carter series, depending on how you look at it.
But Tha Carter V is still very much on Wayne’s mind, and in an interview with Red Bull Music Academy, Weezy says that Mannie Fresh produced the intro for the album (which could lead to interludes and outros if you know the series), and that DJ Mustard has a song that can make the album go double platinum.
